Question 1

Do I need any prior experience to use the platform?

Accepted Answer

No. CSCS Test Practice is designed for candidates at every level, from complete beginners to those who have sat the HS&E test before and want to improve their score.

Question 2

Is the content based on the current CITB HS&E test?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our question bank and revision notes follow the official CITB Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) test syllabus and are anchored to current UK HSE law and guidance such as HASAWA, CDM 2015, COSHH and RIDDOR.

Question 3

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can cancel whenever you like. There are no lock-in contracts and no penalties, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Question 4

Does the mock test follow the exam format?

Accepted Answer

We follow the exam format: a multiple-choice test of 50 questions, including behavioural case-study questions, with a single correct answer per question and a 45-minute time limit. The questions are practice questions written by us, not questions from the official exam.

Question 5

What score do I need to pass?

Accepted Answer

For the operative HS&E test you typically need to answer around 45 out of 50 questions correctly. In our mock tests you practise against that pass mark so you know when you are ready.

Question 6

Does this platform give me my CSCS card or an official certificate?

Accepted Answer

No. CSCS Test Practice prepares you to pass. The HS&E test is booked and sat through CITB, and the CSCS card is issued separately; our role is to get you to the test as well prepared as possible.

Question 7

Can I revise on my phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes, CSCS Test Practice is 100% responsive. You can revise on a computer, tablet or smartphone, at any time.
